‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is now safely out of that God-forsaken room and in a hospital bed recovering from her ordeal, it seems the true pain has just begun! While she may be recovering physically, the damage it did emotionally and psychologically is just starting and she would love for nothing more than to see Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) behind bars.
However, on the other side of the bed is the clueless Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), who only sees the good in Ben and how he was just trying to make himself look good to her. Queue obliviousness.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Why Is Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) Seemingly Forgiving Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) Already?
Mariah just wants to see him caught and placed behind bars. Like any sane person would want. Though, we all know how Abby is. She can be pretty ditzy and not think around situations. There’s NO WAY of justifying what he did and he should never be allowed to walk free. Plain and simple.
The emotional scars that he’s left on Mariah could affect her the rest of her life. Not knowing if she was ever going to make it out. Sleeping in there alone, day and night. That is absolutely terrifying and haunting and it’s obvious why she’s having nightmares.
I’m with you Mariah, Ben needs to pay. Abby needs to pull her head out of her ‘you know what’ and realize the damage that Ben has caused Mariah. Instead, all she’s thinking about is, “he did all of this for me? How cute.”
Also, Abby needs to stop walking about clueless and just flaunting everything about the baby in front of Mariah. Give her some damned time.
