NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Salem has a terrible record as far as weddings go. We’ve said a few times that a destination wedding business would kill it if operating in Salem. Anyone with any brain would take advantage of that to get the heck away from the bad mojo. However, it seems like there might be an exception to this rule. Let’s take a look at the recent track record and how someone might be breaking it.

First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal we had a rash of weddings a little while back. They have had some rough roads, for sure. In Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) case, they were done almost as soon as they said “I do”. And, of course, there was drama at the wedding courtesy of Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney).
Meanwhile, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) had a wedding disaster as well as drama between them. In fact, Lani tried to keep Eli away from her after blaming him for Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) being locked up.
And we all know what happened at the #Cin wedding. Finally, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) also never made it down the aisle when Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) went back to a newly-recovered Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols).

It looks like one of the doomed couples is ready to try again. Now that Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) has her memory back, she and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) are together once again. They even talked about remarriage as well as a honeymoon. If history is any indication, this is a drama waiting to happen, right? Maybe not…

It seems ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal this wedding is going to be a surprise thing. Seeing as how a quick wedding worked out for Steve and Kayla, we think this lack of planning will benefit #Cin as well. We have a thought on that. Actually, two.
With the wild stuff that happens in this town, we’ve often thought there must be some type of Hellmouth thing in Salem, much like Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Or at least a lot of bad mojo surrounding the place. It’s possible the spontaneous method doesn’t allow time for the negative energies to take hold. Of course, there’s another more likely theory.
Everyone knows that these disasters are usually the fault of someone. Like when Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) was in Kayla’s ear about her love for Steve. Or how Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) was the force behind the bomb that nearly ended #Cin for good.
And Lani was the target of a vengeful Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel), which ruined her day. By taking a quick, spontaneous approach, they’re not allowing anyone to plan a nasty surprise. And it’s a good reason for people to never hold a wedding planned in advance there again. Or throw a party. And even that one’s iffy, should you invite someone you know has a grudge against your bride. Looking at you, Eric.
