Is Queen Elizabeth Looking To Take Legal Action Against Prince Harry And Meghan Markle?

It looks like things are about to get pretty serious. There’s a new report that suggests Queen Elizabeth might consider taking legal action against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for some of the claims that they have apparently made in public. In fact, royal sources behind the scenes say that the Queen has had enough of the Duke and Duchess’ repeated attacks on the British Royal Family. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Express, the Queen’s legal team is looking to consult with libel experts following some of the explosive claims made by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle this year.

In their tell-all with Oprah Winfrey, Harry and Meghan said there were some “concerns” over how dark her baby’s skin would be when she was still pregnant with her son Archie back in 2019. While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex refused to out the royal racist, Queen Elizabeth fired back with a statement that suggested “recollections may vary.”

And now sources suggest Buckingham Palace might go over Penguin Random House, the publisher behind Prince Harry’s tell-all memoir, which is scheduled to hit bookshelves in October of 2022.

A source close to the situation says Queen Elizabeth is feeling exasperated with all of the repeated attacks. The tipster puts it this way: “The feeling, coming right from the top, is that enough is enough. There is a limit to how much will be accepted and the Queen and Royal Family can only be pushed so far. They are getting lawyered up. Harry and Meghan will be made aware and know repeated attacks will not be tolerated.”

The insider added: “The royals’ legal team are speaking to firms with expertise in libel and privacy. If someone were named in the book and accused of something directly that could be a libel and also infringe their rights to a private family life. It would be ironic if Harry and Meghan were accused of breaching privacy given their pronouncements on the subject. The legal team could also contact publishers of the book to ask for advance warning of its contents and a right to reply.”

So far Queen Elizabeth has made no comments about any of the claims.
