Chrissy Teigen Releases A Cookbook In Honour Of Her Deceased Son Jack

Chrissy, for her part, had the terrible ordeal of giving birth to her son five months early in 2020. Naturally, he failed to survive, which left many hidden traumas that she had to deal with. And in honour of him, she released her book entitled, Cravings: All Together.

This cookbook gave Chrissy a lot of comfort in the aftermath of Jack’s passing, and now that it is complete, she could not wait to share it with the rest of the world. In a post to her fans on Instagram, she posted a picture of the book showing one of the recipes of what looks to be some sort of cake.

The post was captioned by the following comments: “I can’t believe she’s in my hands. “[It’s] so pretty. … Are you kidding me with this book? It’s so beautiful.” The reaction on social media was largely positive, as Chrissy managed to turn what was a horrific experience into something positive.

And yet, not everyone saw things this way. Some felt that Chrissy was using this opportunity in order to improve her reputation. This was in relation to the accusations that she had been bullying numerous people on social media. Take, for example, Courtney Stodden.

The former had infamously claimed that Chrissy had private messaged her and stated that she should kill herself. While Chrissy did hold her hands up and apologise, not everyone has forgiven her yet. One fan wrote: “Nothing like a new cookbook to erase the past.”

Regardless of what you may think of Chrissy’s motivation for the book, she did make sure that her son was remembered. In the picture here, we can see a page of the book that has been dedicated to her son. His name is written whilst it is surrounded by various images of cookies. And through this book, she managed to find some healing.

She stated: “How do you come up with a funny, enticing caption for a book that quite literally saved you. I didn’t have a theme in mind when we made this book – all I knew was I wanted a bright new energy, but I also needed comfort.”
