’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers finds that a lot of mother-in-laws on this show, Gwen, mother of Jovi Dufren seems to be one of the good ones. While she’s supportive of her son, she definitely doesn’t take any of his BS, especially when it comes to daughter-in-law Yara Zoya Dufren and little baby Mylah.
Jovi was complaining to his Mom, saying that Yara wasn’t fun anymore and that now she was obsessed the the baby and that she was using baby Mylah as an excuse not to pay attention to him.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Gwen’s BS-o-meter instantly went off.
She said that she didn’t think that Jovi was being entirely honest, about the situation and that’s fair. When Gwen tried to reason with him she said that Yara was just basically being a Mom now and that she probably doesn’t like the things that she used to and that he needs to take her out to a nice dinner and if they can’t get together over a nice dinner and manage to have couple time there, then it’ll be clear that they’re not on the same page at all.
Okay, fair, but Jovi, it seems wants Yara to forget baby Yara exists for a few hours and go out and party like she did pre-pregnancy.
He should have thought about that long before now and he should have had at least one discussion with Yara about the direction that their relationship was going to take, post-baby, because it seems that no one actually discussed anything and Yara just expected him to drop “The Jovi Ways” and suddenly become Dad of the Year.
I don’t think Jovi ever really thought about entering that competition at all, I think he thought that Gwen would be raising Mylah for the most part and he and his young hot wife would be out partying.
Little does he realize that is not the way things work. He told Yara that all he wants is for her to be happy and that he would take her anywhere she wanted to go, even mentioned going to a Russian resteraunt, which Yara immediately shot down because she said Russian resteraunts are not romantic (protip?), but she did agree to go for a night on the town with him. We’ll see where this little trip lands. Stay tuned!!!
