‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that Mr. Perfect, aka Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) has a secret to tell fiancé and baby-mama Steffy Forrester (Jaqueline MacInnes Wood).
While we don’t know much, it seems it is related to his family which we will finally meet next week…and will hopefully give us answers as to why Finn was trying to march Steffy down the aisle (or, off the couch) so dang quickly.
The rumor that has been doing the rounds the longest is that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is Finn’s mom. This cropped up when Bell was quoted (Correctly? Incorrectly?) as saying Finn’s mother was already known to audiences, then heated up when Kimberlin Brown shared a photo that she was back on The Bold and the Beautiful lot.

It turns out Kimberlin was on the lot, but not on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ set (or so she claims), but also it became known that Naomi Matsuda has been cast as Finn’s Mom, Li.
Is she Finn’s biological Mom, though? For that matter, is Jack (Ted King), Finn’s biological Dad?
The next rumor to catch our attention is that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is Finn’s real father. We’re not sure how much water this rumor holds, in fact we’re pretty sure fans are just playing the odds here-
Bill seems to turn out to be everyone’s father. It could be fun though to see Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) have another brother/love rival. Would Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) blindly have brother Liam’s back or would he welcome brother Finn with open arms?
The next rumor sure would be a juicy arc to sink our teeth into. It goes back to a story line of old and concerns an egg of Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) that was implanted into Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) and turned into Jack Marone (with a little help from Nick Marone- Jack Wagner).
Taylor rejected her nemesis’ bio child and signed over rights of Jack to Nick. We’ve not seen either of them again. Could Finn really be Jack Marone who Nick adopted out Li and Jack Finnegan?
Again, it would be a fab throwback and a great payoff for longtime fans. Except for one really gross problem. This would make Steffy and Finn (who would be about 8 years Steffy’s junior- not that chronological age means anything in soap world) related.
Steffy and Jack Marone would be first cousins since Nick and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) are brothers. We don’t think Bell would go that dark with his writing.
How about a different baby that had a hard time at the beginning of their life and then ‘poof’ was gone from screens. Yep, we’re talking about “Little Eric”. Quick history lesson: Ambre Moore (Adrienne Frantz) gave birth to a stillborn son who was called Eric III even though it wasn’t certain Rick Forrester (then Justin Torkildsen ) was the actual father.
However, after Eric III died , Amber took custody of her cousin Becky Moore’s (Marissa Tait) unwanted child and passed him off as Little Eric. Becky dies and “Little Eric’s” real father, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) comes into town to stake his claim (his son) and to screw things up for the Logans/Forresters and sire Hope Logan with Brooke, even though he was married to Brooke’s daughter Bridget Forrester (then Jennifer Finnegan). Phew.
Long story short, Deacon took legal custody of his son and after his new wife Macy Alexander (Bobbie Eakes ) died, Little Eric was never seen again. The last time he was mentioned was by Deacon, who stated that Little Eric was staying with his grandparents, Joe and Tillie. Perhaps Joe and Tillie had enough of looking after Deacon’s kid and passed him along to the Finnegans?
A final rumor that has begun to do the rounds doesn’t concern Finn’s family, but avid fans are wondering if Finn’s secret has something to do with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White).
There’s definitely something fishy about Finn and his new roommate, Paris. In a storyline that makes zero sense- new parents and soon to be newlyweds inviting an almost stranger—who’s father sold Steffy a used baby—to live with them in not the world’s largest beach house has confused The Bold and the Beautiful fans.
Head writer Bradley Bell has to have something up his sleeve there and the looks that are being passed between Dr. Perfection and Mary Poppins Paris are a cause for alarm bells to many fans.
Some fear Paris/Finn/Steffy will become the newest love triangle while others believe there’s no way Finn would stray from Steffy with Paris.
Others foresee Paris becoming obsessed with Finn while more say Paris will become obsessed with Baby Hayes. Baby-napping may just run in the family.
A more believable story, which we’ve just seen a hint of, is a Brooke and Steffy show down for the CEO of Forrest Creations title. Paris will likely be a vessel used by Brooke to report just how overwhelmed Steffy is with everything on her plate. Honestly, this one seems the most boring, but still most likely.
