‘Days of Our Lives (DOOL)’ spoilers reveal the Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) return isn’t quite going as promised. Not yet, anyway. We were told by the PTB that we had to keep in mind an important anniversary is on the way for Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara.
We were also told their story would make fans happy. So far, though, we’re seeing more of the same. But did a moment with Ben (and what’s ahead) set the stage for a huge shift? Let’s take a look.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: D-I-V-O-R-C-E and flashes
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Ciara came back to town with one goal—get those divorce papers signed. She wants to move on with Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson). However, Ben isn’t willing to give up, and when Theo arrived to back Ciara up, things got real.
Ben told Ciara he was willing to let her walk out that door. But, he also made it very clear he’s not giving up on the idea he and Ciara will be together again. He directly addressed Theo, telling him he can see it in Ciara’s eyes. She’s remembering things, and she’ll come back to him. It’s inevitable.
Ciara’s expression at one point proved Ben right. However, she jumped right back into defensive mode and said, once more, she wants to forget Ben and marry Theo. She’s over their supposed love story. We think that will change, and two things coming up might be the catalyst.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Tense reunion
First off, Ciara is about to come across Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) Friday. Aunt and niece will have it out, and we think Claire will have enough of Ciara’s abusive comments about Claire and Ben. We’re pretty sure she’ll challenge Ciara to face her past and give remembering another try. And we believe Claire will appeal to Ciara’s pride by issuing a challenge.
At the same time, there’s Shawn. While most of Theo’s relatives have no problem with him moving in on a married amnesiac (well, except for his precious feelings), that might not be the case on the other side. Shawn’s Ciara’s older brother.
Any self-respecting big brother would never just sit back and let her marry a guy when she doesn’t have all her memories back. Again, memories/experiences make us the person we are now. Without them, Ciara’s not herself and working at a disadvantage. Shawn should object to this engagement.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Session time
At the same time, Days of Our Lives spoilers also reveal Ben is scheduled for a session with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). We’re sure Ben will detail everything that happened, including the obvious flash of memory.
That, combined with learning about the engagement, should get Marlena involved as well. We think Ben will convince her to approach Ciara about another attempt. And we’re pretty sure Ciara will say yes, which should lead to an end to this Theo/Ciara mess.
