Britney Spears Gets Big Invitation From Matt Gaetz & Marjorie Taylor Greene Following Devastating Loss In Court!

It looks like Britney Spears lost a battle in her conservatorship case recently, but the war is far from over. Recently, the court ruled Britney was unable to manage her own finances or resist undue influence, so they kept the conservatorship in place. What’s more, they kept Jamie Spears, her father, as part of the team. However, a new development could change things in the future.

Britney Spears speaks

Recently, Britney Spears spoke up for the first time in depth about her conservatorship. In a court statement, she alleged abuse and said she was being treated as a slave.

We mentioned how her complaints over being forced to keep an IUD was big news for people who wanted to shine a light on this happening to others in different countries. But the outcome of the hearing, as we said, wasn’t quite what Britney wanted. There’s hope for the singer, though.

Britney Spears goes to Washington?

Following the court’s decision, a number of Senators wrote a joint letter. The letter invited Britney to speak before Congress about her story. They wrote, “Ms. Spears: You have been mistreated by America’s legal system. We want to help. The United States Congress should hear your story and be inspired to bipartisan action. What happened to you should never happen to any other American.”

The letter went on to say how Britney Spears’ story could inform policy decisions that will change the system she’s in, as well as lead to criminal justice reform, and address civil rights violations. The decision apparently has bi-partisan support. A group of Republicans, including Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene, were behind the invitation.

On the other side of the aisle, . Elizabeth Warren and Bob Casey wrote to the Department of Health and Human Services as well as the Department of justice about the situation with Britney.

Their letter read, in part, “Ms. Spears’ case has shined a light on longstanding concerns from advocates who have underscored the potential for financial and civil rights abuses of individuals placed under guardianship or conservatorship.”

Hope for Britney Spears?

Let’s face it. There hasn’t been a whole lot politicians can agree on lately. The fact these letters came from such different representatives shows there is still something here and there they can agree on. If Britney accepts (or able to accept) the invitation, this would be a huge moment for the singer. She can finally get a much bigger spotlight to tell her story.

The fact this comes when she’s got another hearing coming up in the case could be beneficial. It’s not likely the judge won’t hear of this, and we’re sure this could influence future decisions. Plus, there are reports Jamie Spears has asked the court to look into his daughter’s allegations, as well as make a change to the arrangement. We’ll see how things go, but one thing is for sure—the public opinion is certainly in her favor.
