General Hospital spoilers for the week of July 12 reveal there’s drama inside and outside of Port Charles. There will be a big ELQ meeting, a huge decision by Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), as well as some potential drama back in Nixon Falls. Let’s take a look at the promo.
General Hospital spoilers: The big reveal?
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal there’s going to be some fun at the Quartermaine mansion. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) wants to start the shareholders meeting, but Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) comes in and says it can’t start without him. We love the way he said it—the tone, the look. He definitely is going to make things interesting. With Scott’s arrival, it seems a good chance we’ll either get a definitive answer on who Austin (Roger Howarth) is, or at least another huge clue.

Also this week, the romantic drama continues. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is going to wonder when he and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are going to talk about that kiss they shared. Seriously, we think they just need to get this over with already. The obvious flirting will inevitably lead to these two as a couple. Might as well just jump all in, Sam. The Soap Gods are definitely demanding it. Of course, we think there will be more back and forth before this happens. Especially given the look Sam gets when Dante asks her the question. That is the face of someone not even remotely ready to deal with this.

In other General Hospital spoilers, Maxie finally makes the best decision ever. Well, it looks like she will anyway. In the weekly promo, she says she thinks she needs to leave Port Charles. We couldn’t agree more. Being that close to the baby has already caused too many problems. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) is ready to go to this full-grown woman’s parents of all people out of concern for her mental well-being. And Maxie definitely looks unstable. All that time with “someone else’s” baby after what she went through isn’t healthy. And Maxie has no self-control to keep herself away long enough to accomplish the mission she and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) started.
General Hospital spoilers: On the defensive
Let’s turn to another story. It’s not our favorite. We already made it clear we thought Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) was beyond cruel to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). This week, it sounds like she’s forced to confess a bit of what she did. Because in the promo, it sounds like she’s trying to defend herself. Right. We hope Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) lets her know how wrong that was.
General Hospital spoilers: Emergency?
Finally, Mike (Maurice Benard) is back. There’s a clip of him saying, “We need you.” Sounds like he’s trying to get Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to come back. Considering he’s standing in a medical facility, we have a bad feeling her Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) might have a problem.
