‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers indicate that they managed to make a spin-off out of Welcome to Plathville, it’s going to be an entirely digital series, so instead of on the TLC network it will only be appearing on the TLC App and on Discovery Plus, but yes, the new spinoff is going to be called Plathville: Steamy Nights in Cairo which promises to be interesting, to say the least! But as of right now we don’t have an actual premiere date for the digital series. Welcome to Plathville Season 3 however, will be airing starting August 24th, 2021.
The synopsis goes as follows: “This season, the older kids are still on their own journey to self-discovery but while some Plaths want to make amends with their parents and continue to see their siblings, that’s not the case for everyone.” when we last left the second Plath generation, Ethan and Olivia Plath were thinking about moving into a different house entirely to get away from Kim and Barry (since Kim and Barry had decided to just up and move 0.3 miles away from their new place for no reason whatsoever) and Ethan had essentially walked away from the family saying that he would see the kids again when they were 18.
‘Welcome to Plathville’: Third Season of Welcome to Plathville and… spinoff?
It was a heart-wrenching moment, but, in this instance everyone was on Ethan’s side. He chose his wife. (All the simps on 90 day fiance could take a class from him, just sayin’.)
We’re glad to see that Welcome to Plathville is getting a season 3 and even a spinoff because after the first and even second seasons there was talk of there not being enough interest in the series to actually generate a third season.
But it looks like the verdict is in and everyone wants to see what’s in store for the Plaths this next season, even if it’s just out of concern for the younger, more impressionable Plaths. (Though honestly, we think Isaac’ll be okay.) Micah had been signed to a modeling agency, and we were finally getting to hear Moriah in the studio with her original songs!
Ethan and Olivia’s house hunting journey will probably be documented, will this end up in a possible move to California for them? It is Olivia’s favorite place to be, after all. Will Lydia finally find herself in a courtship this season? Supposedly the filming for Plathville Season 3 is taking place right now, we can’t wait. Stay tuned!!!
