The Real Housewives of Miami is set for a major shake-up with the news that Larsa Pippen will be making a return to the show.

Larsa was one of the original members of the show, since it premiered in 2011. However, after becoming disgruntled with how things were going, she departed only after a single season. But with the producers looking to have a revamp of the franchise, now it seems Larsa is ready to give them another chance.
And yet, it does beg the question, why would Larsa make a return given that she left in the most savoury of circumstances? At the time of her departure, there were rumours going around that she had in fact been fired. Naturally, Larsa did not take too kindly to those claims.
In a prior post to her fans on Twitter, she denied that such a thing had happened. She said: “Why do people lie to feel good about themselves? I’m not doing The Real Housewives of Miami because I can’t be associated with cray cray.”
And yet, her own personal life has drawn up some media controversy since then. Her ,then, relationship with her husband Scottie Pippen came to an end. And the divorce process played out in a very difficult manner. After initially filing for the divorce in 2016, the duo decided to retract that action a year later. Nevertheless, the pair filed for divorce again in 2018, and this time it was for good.
In a statement given to Us Weekly at the time, Larsa remarked: “It is with deep sadness that Scottie and I announce that we are legally separating…it is best that we live separate lives.” Just when you thought that drama was enough, Larsa got herself involved in more controversial moments.
She was pictured hooking up with Malik Beasley, while the latter was seeing Montana Yao. Although Larsa decided to distance herself from it, the damage had been done. Sources confirmed as much: “Larsa decided to distance herself from the drama… Many people assumed it was serious when in fact it was not.”
