Paris Hilton has confirmed that she still loves Britney Spears, despite the latter making some unsavoury comments towards her.

Britney, for her part, had questioned whether Paris’ account of being abused during her time in high school was true. While that did ruffle a few feathers, it seems Britney may have been questioning the exact details of it rather than whether it had actually happened. Nonetheless, Paris has come out and shown she has no grudges towards the singer.
During the grand opening of the Resorts World Las Vegas Casino, Paris was on hand to make sure that it got a good opening. And that is when she decided to let the world know just how much she cares about Britney. To mark the occasion, she chose the song ‘Piece of Me’ by dedicating it to Britney.
That was accompanied by the following comments: “This…song is dedicated to a queen, a legend … we are thinking of you. I love you, Britney. We love you, Britney. Free Britney!” Paris’ admiration for Britney has been there for a long time.
The duo have a friendship that has spanned over a decade, and Paris has previously expressed how she wants her friend to be able to have a life of independence. This is understandable given Paris has spoken in the past about she had a lot of control over her own personal life, as she was working her way through the entertainment industry.
In a prior interview on the Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen show, Paris expressed how she understands Britney’s pain.
She remarked: “I can understand how [she] would feel… After just working your whole life and working so hard. I just feel like she has no control of her life whatsoever, and I just don’t think that’s fair.” It is great to see Paris and Britney holding no grudges. With such a good friendship in place, Britney knows she can count on Paris if she ever needs any help.
Given Paris is already planning her wedding and Britney looks to have the upper hand in her conservatorship battle, the future does look bright for everyone involved.
