NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal we talked a bit about the brewing love triangle in Salem. Namely, how Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) is caught between her current husband and her ex.
Lucas Horton (Brian Datillo) has made his intent very clear. He wants Sami back. On Friday, June 18th, he might recruit some help to make that a reality. Let’s see what happened and what is likely up for Friday.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The background
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate Lucas has been less than thrilled with the way EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) has been treating Sami of late. In fact, she cried on Lucas’ shoulder about how different a person EJ has been since the accident. She’s been miserable and figured the union is possibly doomed.
Of course, they made the situation so much better by sleeping together. Twice. We sensed something between them before that, but now it’s official. Lucas thinks Sami deserves better and he wants to be that “better”. But there’s a problem.

Of course, EJ’s return to Salem really complicated the situation. Sami was clearly taken aback by the surprise arrival. And, like a lot of abused partners, fell fast for the apologies and declarations of love.
We won’t get into all that mess again, but suffice it to say, Sami is pretty deep in this whole mess, and we’ve already discussed how we think that should play out. But is Lucas going to get some help in this mission?
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The teaser
Apparently, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers tease that Lucas asks Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) for a favor Friday. Now, as this is Sami’s father we’re talking about, we can only assume he might be trying to get Roman on his side.
We wouldn’t be surprised to have Lucas declare his intent to get back with Sami, as well as talk about his disapproval of EJ’s behavior toward Sami.
As he’s a father and parents never stop being protective, we have a feeling Roman might take action. We’re guessing that’s what the favor is about.
Like, maybe talking to Sami about her relationship with EJ and try to talk sense into her. Of course, this is Sami. So it might just have the opposite affect. She doesn’t seem to respond well to feeling ambushed.
We wouldn’t be shocked, either if Roman and Lucas have someone else on their side. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) clearly saw the sparks between Sami and Lucas and seems worried that Sami is making a hasty decision to stick with EJ. So, let’s see if they all team up against her. We’re kind of hoping so, because this could get entertaining.
