Jamie Spears Is Living In A RV As He Waits To Appear In Court Amid His Conservatorship Battle With Britney Spears
The duo have been at the opposite ends of the spectrum. Jamie, for his part, has always stressed that he has been doing what is best for Britney by protecting her from those seeking to take advantage over his daughter’s wealth. Those within Britney’s camp, however, claim that the singer is able to make decisions independently.
As the dispute is still in court, Jamie has been living in an RV. It does not look to be the most glamorous of places for someone who has been accused of taking advantage of his daughter’s wealth. According to the New York Times, Jamie has “been staying down a winding country road on the outskirts of town, in an RV…that has stored the boxed-up relics of his daughter’s megawatt career.”
Britney is determined to end Jamie’s control over her estate, but her cause has not been helped by the documentary she released entitled ‘Framing Britney Spears.’ The reaction from the documentary was mixed, as although some celebrities such as Justin Timberlake and Perez Hilton were held to account for their treatment towards the singer, Britney was outraged at the fact that it created more division between herself and the family.
Sources confirmed as much: “It’s turned into a nightmare for her because she can’t imagine what her kids are going to think now…She’s a major pop star, but she’s still a human being who is super sensitive and, sadly, is really affected by the public’s opinion about her.”
With the conservatorship battle nearing towards the end of its conclusion, there is still the question of whether Britney will make a return to music. There have been conflicting reports on whether she will make a comeback, but if her conservatorship battle ends in a victory, then what better way to celebrate with a return to the stage.
