Jail? What jail? The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah looks like she doesn’t have a care in the world, despite the fact that she was recently arrested on federal fraud charges.
She’s been hit with federal charges stemming from allegations she conspired to commit wire fraud and laundered money connected to a purported telemarketing scam, according to federal prosecutors. Here’s what you need to know.
While Jen hasn’t said much about the matter, she did share a photo of herself in full glam as she was showing off her newly down hair with a Cardi B song playing in the background.

Clearly, the thought of spending the next 50 years in prison just hasn’t dawned on her. In another post, she was be seen relaxing on a couch. If that weren’t enough, Jen also re-posted a couple of Instagram Stories that promoted the “Free Jen” campaign.
“Thank you for being loyal, believing in me and not believing the hype. This journey has showed me who my true friends are. All my love,” she wrote in the caption of one post, along with a red heart emoji.
Of course, it didn’t take long for her critics to weigh in on the matter, while quite a few of them took to their social media accounts to write, “She is fooling herself to think that she is going to get out of this. They don’t bring up these kind of charges because they have nothing. Look at Teresa and Lori Laughlin, both thought they would get out of it, both went to jail,” along with, “If there is one person, even one, still thinking she’s fabulous and deserving of fans, that’s equally horrific. How dare this woman be arrogant enough to believe that people are going to rally around her, elevate her, celebrate her and side with her!!!”
Another critic wrote, “Jen is doing herself no favors in alluding to the case, in any way, on social media. It always backfires. But now that I think about it, keep on speaking Jen! Most people would be mortified by what has happened to her this week. Apparently, not Jen. Let’s hope she is back to filming soon and gives off a who gives a **** attitude. I am sure it will work out well for her.”
