‘Real Housewives of New York City’: Shock!! Heather Thomson Reveals She Got ‘ASSAULTED’ On The Show

There was much anticipation, as to what Leah would bring to the franchise, given that she only joined the show on the 12th season. Fast forward to the 13th season, and she has already made an impression-albeit for the wrong reasons. In an interview on the Friends of Dorothy podcast, Heather did not hold back on exactly what went down during the filming.

She said: “I get assaulted this season…People were interested in putting me down…and showing me who is the queen bee. I just don’t have time for that stuff. It’s the new girl who was intimidated and wanted to show who’s the queen bee.” But things were really serious as the producers reportedly had to step in and stop filming in order to calm things down.

While there were no reported injuries of any sort, it does give the fans something to look forward to in the upcoming season. The reason for the break in filming was because Heather had enough, of the whole show, and took offence to Leah’s attention-seeking behaviour. Although things did calm down, with Heather having returned to proceedings, they still share a lot of animosity towards each other.

A source said: “Heather could see Leah was acting up for the cameras… Heather wanted no part of Leah, so after she left that weekend, Heather had no interest in continuing the season at all and stopped filming.” Leah, in response, also took offence to the manner of Heather’s conduct. She felt that Heather was intimidated because there were other women, who were calling out her actions.

Heather’s candidness has clearly rubbed up many people the wrong way. In a previous post to her fans on Instagram, Leah bashed Heather’s behaviour to her fellow housewives. She stated: “I don’t like women who slut-shame other women. Act morally superior to other women. Plastic surgery shame other women.” It is clear that these two will not be patching things up anytime soon.
