Things could have easily gotten sour, especially since Falynn and Porsha are co-stars on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. While it does raise the question of whether Simon did end up doing things behind Falynn’s back, the latter has chosen not to focus on any negativity. Instead, she is looking to cut ties and move forward with her life.
In a statement given to Us Weekly, she said: “I want to thank everyone for reaching out to me and offering their love and support. At this time, I am focusing on finalizing my divorce and healing. Sending positivity to all of you.” Just as Falynn was busy looking to the future, so was Simon. And yet, the circumstances surrounding his new relationship with Porsha are only going to raise further questions.
Simon and Porsha’s relationship has come out of the blue. This was evident none more so than when Porsha announced their engagement. On the surface, it merely looks like Simon is rushing things. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Porscha shared a picture of her alongside Simon. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Our relationship began a month ago
“Yes, we are crazy in love. I know it’s fast, but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness.” There is no doubt that Falynn will be left scratching her head at the news. She cannot be expected to believe that there was nothing going on between Simon and Porsha during their marriage. Regardless of what the truth may be, it does add some extra spice for the reunion shows that are ultimately going to follow.
And we have been given a taste of this, as Falynn and Porsha are not going to be hanging out in the same circles. Porsha added: “I had nothing to do with their divorce filing. That’s between the two of them. Falynn and I are not friends.” There is plenty more drama going to be coming with this story, and fans will be tuning in.
