Even if you’re not a gamer, you’ve probably heard of ‘League of Legends’ from Riot Games. It’s been one of the longest-running MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena), has tons of players and legends, and continues to be one of the most beloved titles on the market today.
Now, from the creators of the game, comes ‘Arcane’, a new story that follows the origins of two iconic League champions! Check out the trailer below that was uploaded with the following description,
“From the creators of League of Legends comes a new animated series, Arcane. Set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League champions-and the power that will tear them apart.”

While just a teaser, you can tell there is obvious excitement from the fanbase. I played LoL a lot about 7 years ago, and even though it’s been that long, I’m excited for this. This could open up the gateway for a lot more animated series and films about some other games that they could easily write, produce and create in-house!
