Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli are attempting to avoid the public backlash that is going to follow them ever since their release from prison.
Lori Loughlin And Mossimo Giannulli Looking To Fly Out To Mexico In The Aftermath Of Their College Scandal
The duo infamously spent time behind bars, after they attempted to bribe a college in order to accept their daughters Olivia Jade and Bella Jade into the University of Southern California. But now that they are finally free, they are looking to make a quick getaway to Mexico. Lori, for her part, has served her community service, whereas Mossimo has not completed it.
As such, an application has been made to the court that would allow him to go on holiday. While the couple may have made a disastrous mistake, during those moments of despair, they sought to put their kids first. Regardless of whether the children were fully aware over what their parents were doing, it could not have gone ahead without their financial backing.
And given what we know now, the children were left to deal with the fall out by themselves. That did not stop Lori and Mossimo from making sure they were ok, though. Rather than serving time together, which may have been a bit easier knowing that you have somebody by your side, they decided to separate the sentences in order to make sure that one parent was there to look out for them.
An Insider confirmed as much: “Even though their daughters are adults, Lori wants one parent to be free to provide emotional support to the girls. Lori’s concern all along has been Isabella and Olivia Jade.” There was no no correct course of action, as Olivia admitted to feeling a lot of pressure in the aftermath anyway.
She was very vocal about having remorse and vowed to make sure that she would not be engaged in such behaviour, whether that be directly or indirectly through her parents. In a previous interview on the Red Table Talk, Olivia said: “It really can’t be excused….But I think what a lot of people don’t know is my parents came from a place of just, ‘I love my kids I just want to help my kids.”
