Van Jones has praised Kim Kardashian’s efforts to become a lawyer, in light of her impending divorce with Kanye West.

Van is all too aware of Kim, after he has been mentoring her at his organisation, as she attempts to gain her legal badges. And this seems to be the natural route for Kim, given that her father was a lawyer. With Kanye now out of her life, along with her kids getting a little older, Kim has been enjoying that freed up time. In an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres show, Van gushed over Kim’s abilities.
He said: “I think she’s going to be an unbelievable attorney, and I think she’s one of the best advocates that we have. She’s doing amazing.” While Van has been helping Kim get to grips with the law, rumours have been emerging that the two have more in common than just studying. Following Kim’s separation from Kanye, people began to speculate that Kim may have had a soft spot for Van.
After all, they do spend a lot of time in each other’s company. Not only that, Van split up from his ex-wife Jana Carter-making both parties single and available. Both have never commented on the rumours, but Kim has been very vocal in her desire to make a change. This was most evident during her first taste of legal success.
In 2018, she had worked tirelessly with Van in order to prevent their client from getting a life sentence. The defendant, Alice Johnson, at the time could have been facing life behind bars because of drug-related charges. But after working their magic, the pair were able to prevent that from happening.
Aside from her legal studies, Kim has her own legal issues to contend with. Her former staff members have reportedly filed a lawsuit over what they claim to be unpaid wages. Although Kim is known for giving her staff the best treatment, things have been made worse because of the net worth she will be giving up to Kanye during the divorce. The Keeping up with the Kardashians star will need to get her act together soon.
