Is her family life really that miserable? Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow recently revealed that she was drinking whiskey every night in order to help her get through the Covid-19 lockdown back in March and April of last year.
In fact, the blonde beauty says that she was drinking seven nights a week in order to cope with the stress of it all. Here’s what she has to say.
Speaking to the Mirror, Gwyneth says that she was certainly drowning her sorrows in a whiskey bottle during the first lockdown. She told the site that she drank a lot of alcohol during quarantine.

She said, “I was drinking seven nights a week and making pasta and eating bread. I went totally off the rails. I mean, who drinks multiple drinks seven nights a week? Like that’s not healthy. I love whiskey and I make this fantastic drink called the Buster Paltrow, which I named after my grandfather who loved whiskey sours.”
Gwyneth also opened up about her special drink – the Buster Paltrow, which she made with whiskey from a distillery in Tennessee, maple syrup and lemon juice.
“It’s just heaven. I would have two of those every night of quarantine,” she said. “And it’s this great quinoa whiskey from this distillery in Tennessee with maple syrup and lemon juice. It’s just heaven. I would have two of those every night of quarantine.”
The actress also said that while she never got black out drunk, she did find herself having a cigarette from time to time during quarantine.
“I miss it,” she said of her former smoking habit, according to the British tabloid.
