‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that star Camila Banus is taking her soapy femme fatale persona to new heights in a made-for-TV thriller, Fatal Fiancé.
Premiering on June 10 on LMN (previously Lifetime), Banus will play an unhinged woman with an unhealthy obsession with her ex-boyfriend.
As her ex prepares to marry another woman, Leah -portrayed by One Life to Live alum, Brittany Underwood (ex-Langston Wilde), Faith decides she needs to stop the wedding at any cost. She kidnaps Leah on her wedding day.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: But is Faith just misunderstood?
Leah soon begins to realize it may not be Faith that is the delusional one after all, and Faith may have just saved Leah from making the biggest mistake of her life.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Camila Banus’ (Gabi Hernandez) Thrilling New Movie Role
Sounds pretty cool, and the title of the movie, Fatal Fiancé, conjures up a much more thrilling atmosphere than the original working title which Banus laughed “was atrocious.”
‘A Deadly Bridenapping’ strikes fear in no one’s heart!
Banus explained that the movie was filmed during a break from filming ‘Days of Our Lives’, so it won’t interfere with the current storyline where Gabi has finally managed to get back together with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash)…sort of.
With Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) blinded by the drugging and beating she received at the hands of Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), Jake and Gabi’s reunion may be short lived.
Also featuring in Fatal Fiance is Wally Kurth- Days’ very own Justin Kiriakis!
“We had a lot of fun filming,” Banus said. “It’s a lot of fun for soap fans.”
We know that Kurth plays a man named Hank, but that is the only detail shared so far. Looks like we will just have to watch both Banus and Kurth in action on Thursday, June 10, at 10 pm when Fatal Fiancé premieres on LMN.
