The Bachelor’s Chris Harrison shook the internet— as speculation ran rife that— he may have secretly married his girlfriend, Lauren Zima.
Did Chris Harrison SECRETLY Get Married?
Chris has had a difficult period of late, as he sidestepped his hosting duties in response to the backlash received over his comments on the Rachael Kirkconnell scandal. That is why fans thought they had gotten married, as evidenced by an Instagram post. In a post on his Instagram page, we can see a picture of Chris and Lauren kissing each other at a wedding.
The post was captioned with the following comments: “‘I’d stop the world and melt with you’ @laurenzima there’s no one I’d rather celebrate love with, and I’ll be your plus one anytime.” That caused several fans and Bachelor stars to assume they had tied the knot. Trista Sutter responded with: “If you got married, I’m here for it and huge congratulations!!!”
As it transpired, the duo were merely attending another wedding where Lauren was a bridesmaid. Lauren replied: “Love you so much and appreciate all the ‘congrats’! This *bridesmaids* dress is really living above its potential.” That is not to say that the couple might not get married. They initially hooked up together in 2018, and by all accounts, things have been going great.
Lauren even stood by Chris during his ‘racism’ scandal when most people, including the show, had decided to throw him under the bus. Chris, though, saw a funny side to the rumours. He commented: “Wow, you attend one wedding together…do one chicken dance and your hitched! Congrats Christine and Kevin, on a beautiful wedding and the start of a wonderful life together.
“I do love this bridesmaid, though.” With Chris no longer tied up by the intense Bachelor schedule, it has freed up some time for him to get closer to Lauren. While there are no immediate plans to get married, it is unthinkable to say that the couple did not know they would get such a response to their post. With that in mind, a wedding could be on the cards soon.
