NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) Needs a Raise!

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) hasn’t had an easy time of things in Salem. Especially lately. Friday’s episode was another example of why Rafe might want to head for a saner town. Let’s take a look at how everyone is driving him crazy lately, and the awkward discovery he made.

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Are you kidding me?

First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Galen owned the show in a recent episode. He’s been working hard to find out who killed Charlie Dale (Mike Manning). Despite any personal feelings about the guy and what he did, Rafe is committed to making sure the law is upheld. Now, if he could just get some cooperation.

He already looked pretty frustrated with Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). Between her and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) covering for each other, he didn’t know whether he was coming or going.

But, he finally was able to prove Sami is innocent, despite her confession. And he believed Allie when she swore she didn’t do it, either. This is where things got bad.

In an awesome scene that we laughed way too hard at, Rafe learned that two other Salem residents were innocent as well, yet held back information—Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Galen’s delivery was spot on as he read the whole group the riot act for making his job so much harder.

And we loved the commentary he threw in during their explanations. This is a guy who clearly doesn’t know whether to be glad they’re all innocent, or whether he should haul them in for obstruction of justice. We could swear by the looks on Rafe’s face, the thought occurred to him. But things got even worse on Friday.

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Let me get this straight…

In another great scene, Rafe had to face Melinda Trask (Tina Huang). We don’t exactly like Trask, and think she was out of line in question Rafe’s objectivity, given her clearly personal handling of Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) case.

But we did get a kick out of her wanting to clear up a point. She asked if Rafe is telling her he cleared a murder suspect (Allie) because her mommy and daddy said so. We seriously couldn’t.

We nearly choked laughing at that. And, as hateful as she can be at times, she did have a point in much of what she said regarding Allie and the other suspects.

But we did appreciate that she took Rafe and his willingness to stake his job on this seriously, which led to them examining more evidence. And it led somewhere Rafe was not expecting.

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: We have our killer?

It seems the Soap Gods were in Rafe’s favor Friday. Or against him, depending on your point of view. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Belle Black (Martha Madison) happened to stop by the Salem PD to inform Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) he won’t be arresting Jan Spears (Heather Lindell).

She’d cut a deal with Jan to save John Black (Drake Hogestyn). This turned out to be a bad decision, at least as far as going by the Salem PD is concerned.

Rafe happened to come out as Jan was getting ready to leave and notice her coat. A coat that happened to be the same color as the button found at the crime scene. And her coat happened to be missing one. We’re not sure Belle really did it.

A hypnosis session proved John Black is innocent, but the killer had a hood on, and you couldn’t see who it was. We’ll learn who killed Charlie next week. But for now, Rafe has a hard task ahead. With all this drama, we think this guy deserves a raise. Seriously, he can’t be getting paid enough for this.
