Janet Jackson Is Getting Her Own Documentary About The Super Bowl Wardrobe Malfunction
This is bad news for Justin Timberlake, as it was recently revealed that he had apparently set up Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction to happen. The stylist who got Janet Jackson ready before her Super Bowl Performance with Justin Timberlake says that it was the singer who wanted to make the most out of it.
Justin wanted something a little more shocking compared to Britney Spears’ infamous kiss with Madonna at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards. And shocking is certainly what he got.
Wayne Scot Lukas told Page Six that Justin “insisted on doing something bigger than their performance. He wanted a reveal.” At first, Janet was supposed to wear a pearl G-string inspired by one that Kim Cattrall had worn in an episode of “Sex and the City.”
“Janet was going to be in a Rocha dress, and [Justin] was going to step on the back of her dress to reveal her butt in this pearl G-string,” he told us. But “the outfit changed a couple of days before, and you saw the magic.”
It’s unclear whether Janet Jackson or Justin Timberlake, who famously tore off part of her top and exposed her breast during the performance, will participate in the film.
