Emily Ratajkowski is loving life as a mum, and she is not ashamed of sharing that with the world.
Emily Ratajkowski Is ‘Fully Embracing Motherhood And Is Enjoying Every Precious Moment’
The model, who is married to Sebastian Bear-McClard, is having the time of her life with her husband. And it seems this has applied equally to their child. A source told Us Weekly: “She’s fully embracing motherhood and is enjoying every precious moment with her baby boy.” Emily gave birth to her son, Sylvester, in March this year.
Like the recent craze that has overtaken Instagram, Emily is the latest celebrity to debut her baby on the social media platform. In the picture, we can see Emily holding Sylvester very closely. The photo was captioned with the following words: “Sylvester Apollo Bear has joined us earthside. Sly arrived 3/8/21 on the most surreal, beautiful and love-filled morning of my life.” Emily has always wanted to be a mother.
This should come as no surprise, given her background. She was brought up as an only child to some American parents who were living in England. As such, there were many struggles she went through during her youth to fill that loneliness. With that in mind, her previous comments on motherhood were telling as she described what she would say to her baby, if she were pregnant: “I dreamed of you for the first time the other night.
“We were wondering who you will be. One day soon, so very soon, your presence will be real.” Although she had a son, this was not what she envisaged for her life. Emily had always believed she would have a daughter. Having said that, there is still plenty of time to go down that road.
In a previous collection of essays, entitled My Body, she spoke on what she would do with a daughter: “I remember playing as a child, holding baby dolls and picturing myself with a future best friend: something like the American Girl doll I owned, who had brown eyes and brown hair to mirror my own features, a smaller version of myself.”
