‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers tells that you will remember the day that Hope Williams, eventually Brady, graced our screens in the form of Kristen Alfonso. She was a doe-eyed young thing, but would soon become part of the iconic supercouple, Bo and Hope, that dominated most of the 80’s and 90’s on DOOL.

We watched as Hope had her fair share of trials and trevails, she even died a couple of times and stayed gone for quite a long time (which just broke our hearts), but now that we know that Alfonso has decided not to return to the role after the show’s suspension in production during the 2020 pandemic, there is just one part of our daily on-screen guilty pleasure that will be missing from now on.

While we champion her new endeavors, we all have to admit we’re very sad that we’ll never get any kind of formal closure with Hope. They didn’t exactly write one and have decided that she will never be recast.
While we wouldn’t have that any other way because no one could play Hope Brady the way she did it, we’re more than a little sad that she won’t be with us on a daily basis anymore.
Alfonso has said in the past that she wanted to restart her jewelry line that she did in the past (but due to DOOL time obligation she could no longer do), we haven’t exactly seen anything from her on that front, but hey, things take time, especially during a pandemic.
There’s also the fact that now Kristen has time to do a lot of the previous film projects that she had had to turn down due to DOOL filming, and again, we haven’t seen anything from her on that front but that doesn’t mean that we won’t. We’re still in a pandemic, folks, let everyone get vaccinated and then we’ll probably see a lot more progress.
Of her time on DOOL, Alfonso has said this: “So many milestones in my life happened on Days and I have so many incredible memories. I truly worked my tail off but I was very lucky to get the opportunity. Did I ever think that I would be on a show for so many years?
No, I didn’t. I didn’t realize that, no. I never took anything for granted, ever, ever, ever.” we enjoyed spending these milestones with her and today on the anniversary of Hope’s debut so many years ago, we wish her well in her next endeavors. Stay tuned!!!
