CNN seems to have a lot going on right now. From their alleged technical director Charlie Chester admitting that the network is pure propaganda to their post about “convincing” someone to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
I think it’s safe to say that no matter where you stand on the vaccine, trying to force someone to do something against their will isn’t a great place to start. While vaccines are an important part of our health and safety, forcing them upon people isn’t the way to go.
In a new post from CNN, they wanted to give people tips about convincing people to get their shots, and it does look a bit like propaganda. Take a look at the caption below and use the link to view their steps.
“About 74% of Americans say they’re willing to get the coronavirus vaccine or that they’ve already received one, according to a Gallup poll on March 30. But some 26% of Americans say they would not get a vaccine right now. Getting the country over the threshold of herd immunity means finding ways to persuade at least a portion of the people still hesitant to get their shot.

CNN Get’s Blasted For Post Convincing Someone To Get Their Vaccine
The response to CNN’s steps to “speak to someone who’s hesitant to get their COVID-19 vaccine” weren’t great. In fact, the very first comment was, “Help them by minding your own business”. Similar comments followed throughout the comments section and it’s clear that people don’t like being told what to do.
I know a lot of us to want to see this one way or the other, it’s this or that, but there’s a lot of grey area when it comes to people. We’re complicated, all have different thoughts and opinions and you can’t force someone to take a vaccine. You can try these steps to “convince” them, but if they’ve already made up their mind, you may have to accept it.
