British Royal Family News find that if you haven’t heard much from Prince William and Kate Middleton lately, it’s because they are either twiddling their thumbs while feeling utterly aghast and perhaps even a little jealous over all of the positive coverage Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been getting lately.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are coming off a high after appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden, in which Harry opened up about what he thinks about the press, royal Christmas presents, and some of the things he likes to watch on Netflix before going to bed. Here’s what you need to know.
British Royal Family News: Prince William And Kate Middleton Are ‘Utterly Aghast’ And Maybe Just A Little Jealous Of What Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Doing
Not only did Prince Harry show a side of his personality that fans love during his appearance on The Late Late Show, but he and Meghan Markle are about to do another sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey that will mostly likely drive the British press even crazier across the pond.
But if there are two people who are both disgusted and maybe a little envious over all of the headlines with Harry and Meghan’s names in them, it would be the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Yet, sources say that the royal couple are besides themselves that Harry and Meghan would do such a thing as spill their royal tea with the Queen of all Media, Oprah Winfrey.
“It’s just beyond the pale for William and Kate, especially in light of the dreadful timing with [Prince] Philip in the hospital,” an insider told Us Weekly. “They are utterly aghast.”
Yet, sources also say that Harry and Meghan are going to keep things as professionally as possible in their interview, as they don’t want to cause any more problems with their royal family members back home.
“They won’t talk negatively about Prince William and Duchess Kate,” a separate source says. “They don’t want to put any more fuel on that fire.”
But then again, the guilty are always afraid, right?
