’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers find that it’s often hard to see the love between Louisiana born Jovi Dufren and his Ukrainian bride-to-be Yara Zaya, but Jovi’s mother Gwen Dufren seemed to see it when no one else can. Especially not Yara.
In what has to be 90 Day Fiancé’s most hilarious 2 and half minutes of footage—ever—Yara and Jovi shared the spotlight in an awkward slow dance at the engagement party thrown by Gwen.

Of course, Yara didn’t want a big engagement or wedding celebration as it would be all one sided with her family unable to attend. She finally relented and agreed to a small engagement party to keep Jovi, but mainly his mother, happy. Gwen read this as ‘please invite 50-60 people’.
Unaware of the size of the party, Yara spent about a million hours getting ready, dressing in a long sparkly gown and took a million selfies, all while multi-tasking and shouting at Jovi for being…well Jovi. Look, none of us like Jovi, but you chose him, Yara so…there’s your bed, at least try to enjoy lying in it.
Arriving at the party, Yara actually took the volume of guests on the chin and didn’t go all Yara on Gwen. Instead, she felt that at least Gwen cares about her, unlike her no-good, beer-guzzling fiancé. Gwen then put the feuding couple on the spot, making them slow dance with an enthralled audience looking on
While mama Gwen swooned at the love Yara and Jovi share, Yara whispered terms of endearment into the father of her unborn child’s ear like, “Don’t touch my a$$” and “Pay me f%$king attention, you bitch”. With Gwen waxing lyrical, saying, “Watching Yara and Jovi together, I can see that look in their eye. They are really in love,” the hot mic picked up Yara repeating “I hate you,” to her fiancé—twice.
If you’re not yet howling in laughter or feeling really good about your own relationship (or singledom), Yara had a final sweet nothing for her beau. As he led her from the dance floor she told him quietly, “I want to kick your f$%king a$$.”
Ahhh, to be young and in love.
Personally, I don’t know anyone other than Jovi to be so deserving of a bride like Yara, or to be on the receiving end of her pregnant hormonal mood swings!
Enjoy each other, kids—better you than me, there is not enough booze in Nawlins’ to get anyone through that.
