Each one appears to think the other wronged them. We saw a flashback of them getting engaged, as well as what looked to be them preparing for their wedding night. Obviously, this had a bad effect on Sancar Efeoğlu (Engin Akyürek).
He refused to accept Melek Efeoğlu Çelebi (Beren Gençalp) as his daughter, much less take her in as requested. To Menekşe Efeoğlu’s (Tülin Yazkan) credit, she’s different.
The new bride actually was willing to take in this child from another woman, and she’s putting up with a lot. Not only did her wedding party get interrupted, but she ended up left alone on her wedding night. After, of course, getting ordered into the room.

Elsewhere, we saw Güven discover the body Nare left behind. He also found a bag with the weapon inside, as well as some bloody clothing.
We still aren’t quite sure who the victim was to her, or why she felt she needed to go that far. It should be interesting to see if her father uses his power to cover this whole thing up.
It also makes us wonder about Nare. She was obviously aware she could get thrown in jail, which is why she wanted her daughter settled elsewhere. However, it’s like she wants to suffer.
Why on earth would someone leave the clear evidence of their crime sitting on a silver platter as she did? Sounds like someone’s got a self-destructive side. Or is filled with self-hate. We’ll see how that plays out later.
