‘The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B)’ spoilers find that fans, and Dr. Campbell (Tina Huang) felt a sense of de ja vu when Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) once again needed a DNA test to discover who the father was to her unborn baby.
Only a few years ago, Steffy had to admit to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) that she had slept with his father Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Happily the baby turned out to be Liam’s and, while Liam is currently with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) – at least for one more hot minute– Steffy and Liam have been doing a great job at co-parenting the world’s most well-behaved and usually invisible child, Kelly.

But since Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) prematurely admitted to switching the newest DNA results, speculation has run wild as to whether this unsatisfying conclusion is merely a bookmark in a much bigger, and more consequential storyline.
We all saw Bill ‘hanging out’ at the hospital around the time of the first DNA test, similar to how Vinny was spotted with his lab coat the second time around. Bill’s wealth certainly gives him enough far-reaching power to pay off a lab tech to switch results. If not-the-sharpest-tool-in-the-shed Vinny can figure out how to do it, someone back in 2018 certainly could.
Head B&B writer, Bradley Bell promised back at the beginning of this most recent paternity drama that the saga would play out over months and affect the lives of the Forresters, Logans and Spencers forever. The neat little bow we’re currently seeing tying up the storyline isn’t sitting well with fans…and we can’t wait for it to unravel.
We here at Daily Soap Dish are wondering if a new test for baby two might be done (I mean, who could trust Vinny at his word?) and somehow it throws back to baby one, showing that Kelly isn’t Liam’s daughter, but his half-sister!
Think of the huge ramifications- not least for Dr. John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) who will suddenly have to deal with Dollar Bill rather than lame little Liam!
