‘The Bachelor in Paradise’ Spoilers: Grant Kemp Turned Down The Chance To Reappear On The Show

So did he take up that opportunity? In an interview with Us Weekly, Grant stated how he turned down the producers. He said: “They actually asked me to go on Bachelor in Paradise again a couple of weeks ago, and I said no.” This would be understandable to some. His last appearance hardly did him any favours. After all, that is where he met Lace Morriswho has now sadly become his ex-partner.

Despite the duo seemingly being loved up and taking things seriously by getting engaged, they called it quits in 2016. And by the sounds of it, they have cut off all contact ever since. He added: “After she left [my place] to move back to Colorado. There was no communication at all. I didn’t have any ill feelings towards her. It just wasn’t gonna work.”

Not only that, but Grant had also appeared on The Bachelorette, where he was vying for Jojo Fletcher. That did not go to plan, but he has ,since ,sorted out his love life. And now, Grant is more prepared on other projects, and it seems the Bachelor franchise is not something he will be considering anymore. He continued: “[Bachelor in Paradise is] a chapter in my life that I think is kind of closed because I do music now. And that’s my main focus.”

So how has the music been going? Well, Grant admitted that nothing had been released, but it has not stopped him from getting things ready in the meantime. And by all accounts, the Bachelor franchise has influenced his music; whether that is in a positive way is anyone’s guess. But we did get a hint as to what fans could expect.

He noted: “I think that [both my Bachelor fans and music fans] will appreciate the song a lot. It’s not, like, a diss track. It’s just about me actually finding the girl that I want and it not being through a girl that I need on the Bachelorette or whatever show that I might’ve been on. [It] represents my current situation.”
