Taylor Swift fans are screaming in delight after decoding a message she wrote on her Instagram page.

Grammy winning singer/songwriter Swift announced on Instagram that she has finished re-recording her 2008 album, Fearless. Along with a photo very reminiscent of the Fearless album cover, the superstar disclosed that along with re-recordings of all the originals from the album, Swift will add six more songs that didn’t initially ‘make the cut’.

She also pleased her very vocal fans by announcing on Good Morning America this morning that an updated version of the mega-hit “Love Story” will drop at midnight tonight (Thursday, Feb 11).

Taylor Swift fans are screaming in delight after decoding a message she wrote on her Instagram page.

But the thing that has Swifties swooning was the Easter Egg in her Instagram message. 31-year-old Swift capitalized specific letters, a move reminiscent from the codes she would leave in her lyric books in her earlier recording days.

The capitalized letters spelled out A-P-R-I-L N-N-T-H. A possible release date for Fearless (Taylor’s Version)? Fans seem to think so, especially as April 9 is a Friday, when new albums are usually released.

This will be album release number 27!

Throughout her career Swift has released nine studio albums, twelve extended plays (EP), three live albums, and two compilation albums. An on-going battle with Scooter Braun.to the rights to her masters after they were sold in 2019 has been well-publicized.

Along with the cryptic clue, Swift’s statement explained more about why she is re-recording Fearless and her other five original albums. She also spoke on the new songs that didn’t make the album the first time around–“the ones it killed me to leave behind”, the songstress said.

It will be interesting to hear the differences between Swift 2008, at age 19 and Swift in 2021 at age 31, singing songs that were written during her teen years. However, one of the reasons Swift resonates with so many fans is the themes and lyrics of her music transcending all age groups.

While April 9 is still two months away, fans will have to be satisfied with the new version of Love Story, dropping in mere hours…just in time for Valentine’s Day!
