Not only did Harry and Meghan suggest that there was a royal racist in the family, but the Duke of Sussex also said that his father Prince Charles cut him off, both financially and emotionally. And while Charles initially wanted to release a rebuttal against all of Harry and Meghan’s claims, he ultimately decided against it.

“After much reflection, he also realizes that nothing good will come of prolonging the fight,” said one royal source close to the situation, according to The Mail on Sunday.
“He feels it is time to heal. Now is the time to mend a broken relationship,” a friend reportedly said.
“His mood is that of a father, not that of a statesman,” the friend told the outlet.
Speaking about his father, Harry told Oprah: “I feel really let down because he’s been through something similar, he knows what pain feels like, (and) Archie’s his grandson.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also added that there were conversations over concerns about how dark their son Archie’s skin would be.
While the couple didn’t want to name anyone specific, there’s speculation that the conversations were with a senior member of the royal family like Prince Charles or Harry’s brother, Prince William.
Continuing to talk about Prince Charles, Harry said: “But at the same time – I will always love him – but there’s a lot of hurt that’s happened and I will continue to make it one of my priorities to try and heal that relationship.
After they first left the UK, Harry said he had “three conversations” with the Queen and two with Prince Charles – “before he stopped taking my calls.”
Still, Charles plans to “be in touch” in the coming weeks, “possibly in writing, possibly over a video call,” the source told the UK paper.
“The Prince has a real desire to get back to the close relationship that he enjoyed with Harry for the longest time,” the friend said.
