Netflix’s ‘Concrete Cowboy’ is a new film coming to the streaming service that stars Idris Elba and Caleb McLaughlin. A troubled teen (McLaughlin) has to spend the summer in North Philadelphia with his estranged father (Elba) who is a member of a vibrant urban-cowboy subculture.
The film is based on the novel ‘Ghetto Cowboy’ by G.Neri, and will be released on Netflix next month, on April 2nd. Take a look at the trailer below that was uploaded with the following description,

Based on the novel ‘Ghetto Cowboy’ by G.Neri, Concrete Cowboy is directed by Ricky Staub and co-stars Jharrel Jerome, Byron Bowers, Lorraine Toussaint and Clifford “Method Man” Smith. The film is based on the real-life Fletcher Street Cowboys and viewers are looking forward to the film, “Caleb Mclaughlin is going to show his best performance.”, “Idris Elba? Are you for real this is SO GOOD”, “I can see Caleb going far in his acting career.”, “As soon as it comes out I will disappear from the world until I finish it”, and “This film looks like an instant classic. This definitely looks like it’s going to be a damn fine film, and I agree that Caleb McLaughlin has a long and talented career in front of him! I look forward to seeing what the future brings for this talented young man.
