On Married at First Sight, Chris Williams announced that his ex was pregnant with his child. There has been a lot of drama since this happened and Paige Banks, his current wife, just felt like things were not going to work between them. Everything has just been piling up and Paige has a lot of anxiety about this whole situation. To make matters worse, his ex, Mercedes, wanted to sit down and talk to Paige and on camera.

This season has been filled with drama and some viewers just can’t take it anymore. On the show, we already see couples marry each other after never seeing what the other looks like and now one of them has announced that there is a baby coming and not from his current wife. This season has been absolutely crazy!
Chris has been called emotionally abusive to Paige and fans are not happy with the matchmakers’ choice by putting him on the show. Chris has pretty much become the most hated cast member on any season of Married at First Sight.
On the latest episode of the show, Mercedes shows up to talk to Paige. Paige told fans, “I was never interested in meeting with Chris’ ex-fiance. There was no curiosity or intrigue in it for me in the least. The only reason I even agreed to the sit down is out of respect to the process. This meeting had nothing to do with Chris. I’ve made it very clear that I’m committed to the MAFS experience and to the journey- and that’s the only reason I accepted Chris’ invite to meet the soon to be mother of his child.”
This was a horrible situation that he put her in and fans of the show were very proud of how she handled things. Chris acted like a child the entire time and fans were very turned off by how immature he is.
He made it appear that he wanted the women to fight over him and Mercedes told Paige that she was not there to get back with him and it was something she never wanted to do. Paige ended up hugging Mercedes and called Chris out for his childish behavior.
Fans praised Paige for being the mature adult in this tough situation. Fans think that Chris was only put on the show to start drama, but we will have to see just what happens next.
