E! ‘Keeping With The Kardashians’ Spoilers indicate that, we learned that a former makeup artist of Kylie Jenner had been in a terrible car accident and couldn’t afford his medical bills so his family had set up a gofundme.
Kylie Jenner decided to donate $5,000 to put them just over their original goal, which was, at the time, set to $10K. However, what she did not raelize was, when she shared this generous donation to her stories, the goal had been escalated from $10K to $60K, and she was mainly getting the word out for anyone who did want to donate and set them over their original goal (AKA: Her rich friends.)

Kylie’s been getting such a backlash from this lately that she felt the need to go on her IG story to address it. Everyone had been slamming Kylie for not paying her make-up artist’s medical bills, however on the IG story she said that while Sam, the make-up artist in question, did her make-up for awhile, they did not have a personal relationship anymore and both had moved on.
So technically, he wasn’t her make-up artist anymore, rather he is a make-up artist that she knows. While yes, Kylie is a billionaire and could probably afford to drop $60K and not bat an eye (she probably spends that much on a weekend shopping spree), that doesn’t mean she will for someone who technically doesn’t work for her anymore.
When it comes to money, a lot of us who aren’t in the millionaire game (me included, I am guilty of this) tend to think that just because someone has the financial means, they should always do the right thing – what we fail to realize is, they’re not really obligated to.
You would think the saying, “With great power comes great responsibility.” would be ingrained into someone with as much influence as Kylie, or any of the influential juggernauts, but as much as we would like to think that, it’s really not.
Kylie paying for this guy’s medical bills, while it would be nice, would be us expecting our boss from high school paying all of our medical bills – years after we had moved on and quit that particular job.
That’s a little ludicrous. Also, it seems that the $60K goal ended up being met in the end, so we can say that at least for Sam, all’s well that ends well, now all he needs is time for healing and recovery – our thoughts are with him. As for Kylie, she just may have learned her lesson about humblebragging in the end. Stay tuned!!!
