Is Chrissy Teigen Replacing Sharon Osbourne On CBS’ The Talk?

Rumors are flying and conspiracies are brewing over who will replace Sharon Osbourne now that she has split ways with the CBS afternoon chat show.

The Talk was put on hiatus on March 12 due to an investigation stemming from a March 10 on-air spat between Osbourne and co-host Cheryl Underwood.

CBS concluded that Sharon’s behavior, claims, offensive language and treatment of other co-hosts past and present “did not align with our [CBS’s] values for a respectful workplace.”

Chrissy Teigen to Replace Sharon Osbourne on The Talk?

Now that Osbourne has packed up her desk and cleaned out her locker, the show will return to taping April 12. So who–if anyone–will fill the seat of the last remaining OG of the chat show?

While there has been no official word, the most commonly heard name doing the rounds of who might be filling Mrs. O’s shoes is none other than model and mom, Chrissy Teigen. And there just might be something to that rumor.

Hear us out. Chrissy has recently quit Twitter, leaving behind millions of followers (including President Joe Biden which she was very excited about).

Chrissy claims it is due to the trolls getting to her, but the over-sharer has been dealing with and clapping back at trolls for years. She’s also kept her Instagram account which she is now abusing in the same vein she did Twitter, so, her excuse seems kind moot.

Chrissy is currently teaming up with Kris Jenner to flog-off “plant-powered” cleaning products, a venture that would be much easier to promote with 13.7 million twitter followers.

Chrissy is also taking the front page of People Magazine’s The Beautiful Issue with a headline about strength- a direct contradiction of the statement she wrote about leaving Twitter, saying she’s weak to critics. It just seems odd she’d cancel her twitter feed at this crucial time when she’s had plenty of nothing to say in the past. Unless…

Some conspiracy theorists believe Chrissy has deleted her account so that it makes it far more difficult to do a deep dive, looking for any past tweets that may not align with CBS’s values.

Of course, there are those scoffing at the rumor, claiming Chrissy wouldn’t commit herself to working as hard as the ladies on The Talk.

What do you think? If not Chrissy, who can you see slipping into Mrs. O’s seat before it even gets cold? Let us know in the comments below and catch The Talk when it returns with new episodes on April 14.
