‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers have found that Vinny all but confessed to pal, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) that he altered the results of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) paternity test.
Thus far Vinny has been reminding Thomas that he is on his side and pushing the whole Thomas-Hope reunion, but it seems like Vinny has put his neck on the line for very little pay off so far.
Is Vinny just really the best friend a man could have, or is he getting something out of changing the DNA test so it appears that Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is not the father?

It could be that Vinny hates Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) who is now believed to be the daddy. Other than a few slights against Liam’s morals, and the fact that Vinny would rather see his pal with Liam’s heartbroken wife Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), Vinny doesn’t seem to have a huge beef with the guy.

Vinny has had a long running crush on Steffy. Maybe he was trying to thrust a wedge into Steffy and Finn’s relationship in hopes that Steffy turned to him. But other than needing the good drugs, Steffy has had little need for Vinny. Even Vinny knows Steffy would turn to Liam if Finn was out of the picture.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: So that leaves the third and final part of the baby-daddy puzzle-Finn.
We cannot recall ever seeing Finn and Vinny in the same scene. Is there a past relationship there we won’t know about until we see the two men meet up- like perhaps in a DNA lab where Finn is poking around to see that Liam’s DNA wasn’t a match either? Finn would turn to the man in the lab coat and see a face from the past…perhaps?
Could Finn have hurt Vinny in the past and this is revenge that has been a long time coming? If so, what could good guy Finn have done to Vinny that was so bad.
One rumor doing the rounds is that Finn and Vinny are actually related; brothers some say (we’ve seen the abs, there is definitely some family resemblance).
One problem with that scenario is figuring out who’s DNA was used to prove Finn did not show the markers of a genetic match. The easiest way to make a mess of results would be to use your own saliva. If Finn and Vinny were brothers, there would be enough DNA match for Dr. Campbell (Tina Huang) to have seen issues with the results. Either the brother theory is off, or Vinny used some other DNA that happened to be lying around.
Of course, this is all rumor and wild speculation (the best kind) but what fans know for sure is, no matter why Vinny messed with the DNA results, they do not want this storyline to drag on like the Phoebe is Beth saga!
