Bella Thorne Supports The #FreeBritney Movement, Says We Are All To Blame

Bella Thorne thinks that we all need to stop pointing our fingers at Justin Timberlake because he’s not the only person to blame. In fact, the Hollywood actress recently condemned all of the disgusting treatment that Britney Spears has received over the years and believes that “we are all part” of the problem.

The former Disney star says that the new documentary Framing Britney Spears has left her feeling quite terrible. Here’s what she has to say.

Bella is doing what she can to stand behind Britney Spears. During an interview with Fox News, she says that she was left quite concerned about the pop star and her mental health and believes that more should be done to help her in the current fight over her conservatorship.

“It was so sad when I watched it,” Bella Thorne said of the doc. “Everything I was looking at made me really, really, really sad knowing that this was happening, knowing that this still happens, knowing that we’re all a part of this, that we all did this to her.”

The former child star, whose breakout role was in Shake It Up on the Disney Channel, says that she can relate to Britney’s emotional rollercoaster. That’s because she’s been on it herself.

“By the time I was 14 I was very famous and there was paparazzi, people constantly looking at me and trying to touch me and insert themselves around me, around my life,” Thorne reflected. “Fake people, real people, all kinds of people including the public judging me for everything that I do.”

Bella also pointed out that while childhood stardom can be downright terrifying for a lot of people, Britney seemed to suffer the worst from it.

“Even if you didn’t do anything to [Britney], you talked about her with your friends, you heard about those photos of her hitting that car, someone made a joke in a group — we’re all a part of it. That makes it so much more incredulous,” Bella said of the past public mocking Britney received.

“The documentary is stunning in the sense that it really gives us the full-blown perspective of the situation. But it’s really disgusting in the sense that here it is in black-and-white, this is what we did to her. My goodness, I just feel literally terrible.”
