‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tease that fans are going to see a familiar face in the coming weeks. That’s because Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will be crossing over from California to Wisconsin very soon. As many fans can recall, Bill used to play Brad Carlton in Genoa City many ears ago. Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Bill said of the latest chapter of this Y&R and B&B crossover, “I had not ever considered that I would be part of a crossover, just because my character was so well-defined at Y&R. It wasn’t like I was on for three months. I had never even considered that possibility, so it just kind of took me by surprise when they asked.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for both Y&R and B&B fans to react to the news. Many of them said, “I think they’re trying to put him on their to see if it will be a good fit for him instead of bold and the beautiful because let’s face it there’s nothing there for him anymore just the same old storyline going around in circles.”
They also said, “He’s probably here for Sally to talk about her past and to work on his deal with Summer Newman. I miss the real Brad Carlton though wish he was alive. Also let the GC residents and Nikki Newman find out that he sprung Deacon Sharpe another crossover outta jail. That would be interesting and fun.”
Another fan wrote, “I love DD. I love Bill Spencer he was one if my favorite characters and I have greatly missed him since I stopped being a viewer of BB. I don’t watch Y&R really anymore.
His crossover and character might have been one if a few B&B that would make me tune in. Unfortunately I’m going to pass. After the way they assassinated Brad Carlton’s character during his final time and how they have tried to unceremoniously erase Brad ‘s history from the show, i just can’t. I’m so tempted because I miss Dollar Bill.”
