‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers reveal that the eternally young Bryan Dattilo, who has played Lucas Roberts on ‘Days of Our Lives’ since 1993 has now become a Grandfather, according to his IG. He captioned the photo “So proud of my family.” we’re so happy for him, but at the same time we’re all sitting here scratching our heads like, “When did that happen?” and the one I know is plaguing everyone’s minds, “No one’s Grandpa looks that good.”
Apparently time flies when you’re not looking! He has been married to wife Elizabeth, the woman who, back in the summer he credited with being the most patient woman in the world for 10 years! Count ‘em, 10, folks! They just had an anniversary back in the summer. He posted on his IG, thanking her for putting up with all of his ways.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Awww!
Man, it seems like just yesterday he was the new guy in Salem, the other guy in the whole Carrie Brady (Christie Clark)/Austin Reid (Austin Peck) love triangle, OG fans will remember that whole deal and how he eventually ended up with Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), the younger, more devious sister.
That eventually played into how he ended up as Will’s Father because for the longest time we didn’t know who the Father to Sami’s baby was and at the time there could have been a possibility that it belong to Alan Harris (Paul Kersey) a previous boyfriend who raped her, and then Sami clung to Austin as the father for an annoyingly long time because at one point she drugged him, but as it turns out, nope, Lucas was baby daddy the entire time!
These two went onto have more kids together, including the infamous Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), whom we recently found out conceived her child because of a rape. Yike!
Since Allie has been kidnapped by her rapist, Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) we wonder if Sami is going to go the extra mile to get her daughter back like she did for Will back in the day, or will this be a job for Daddy Lucas Roberts?
Granted, Lucas has never really had the drive that Sami does when it comes to poking his nose in where it belongs, but that would be an interesting storyline if they wanted to do a redemption arc for Lucas, seeing as he’s become something of a joke with all the drinking. We’ll see what 2021 has in store for Salem (or should we say 2022, because of the time skip?) Stay tuned!!!
