’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers has shown us a lot of men who cling to their mothers and their rules. Brandon Gibbs is one of these men. He lives with his mother in Virginia and has told her that it is temporary so he can save some money and get back on his feet in order to marry Julia Trubkina.
Julia is not cool with this arrangement though. She hates that Brandon doesn’t stand up to his mother and she has had it. She told him that if he can’t stand up to his mother and get the sleeping arrangements changed, she’s going to leave. With how he’s behaving, many fans have remarked that Brandon Gibb is acting like one major simp. For those unaware of TikTok slang, a simp is someone who is submissive in the hopes that he gets something he wants. This has been used to characterize males that act submissive because they want something from a girl, i.e. some “action”. It can also be the other way around, and it can also be used to characterize someone submissive in the general sense. Brandon seems to fit the bill.

Brandon is the only child and that means he’s extremely close to them. So much so that he can’t even stand up to them. He told cameras, “My dad is one of my best friends. My mom can be a little controlling, always trying to tell me what to do.” He should have seen this coming.
One of the main reasons that his parents don’t want them in the same room is that his mother doesn’t want Julia getting pregnant. She knows that she is not on birth control and she feels that she has ulterior motives and having a baby could be one way to trap her son.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Julia Trubkina Tells Brandon Gibbs She will Leave if Bedroom Arrangement Isn’t Changed
After exploring Washington, D.C., Brandon and family head back to Virginia to show Julia what life will be like on the farm. Julia is still not happy about not sleeping in the same room as her fiancé.
She ends up telling Brandon that she will go back to Russia if he cannot stand up to his mother. “I don’t want to sleep in another room without you for 90 days. But you need to talk. You know what will happen if you don’t. I will go home.”
When Brandon took the time to try and talk to his mother, she told him that it wasn’t an option in her house. She is not moving on this arrangement and things aren’t looking good for Brandon and Julia.
Hopefully we will be able to see at least a compromise about the sleeping arrangements. This is a tough situation for them to be in right now.
