‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers: Moriah Plath Is an Actress, Has Film Credits

‘Welcome to Plathville’ spoilers tells that Moriah Plath, considering just how conservative her family’s lifestyle was, wouldn’t have any acting credits to her name whatsoever, but as it turns out, she has been in two films, one as herself, in a documentary starring her entire family called Faith, Family, Harmony and one where she plays a rebellious teenager named Brittany (art imitating life, anyone?) called You Should Be There.

One has to woder just how on earth Moriah even managed to wrangle such opportunities with just how strict Kim and Barry Plath are in their beliefs.

‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers: Moriah’s got film credits?

One thing the films had going for them is that they were made by a Christian filmmaker who had only done Christian films before, so perhaps that made Ma and Pa Plath relax about the opportunities a bit. They knew this guy, since he had filmed the documentary about them and they were like, “Okay, sure.

As long as it’s Christian, we’re okay with it.” so maybe that’s all it took, in terms of getting permission. However, once Moriah did get a taste of the entertainment lifestyle, it’s pretty obvious that she wanted more.

Does she plan on pursuing acting at any point? Well, as of right now, there does not seem to be anything of the acting variety on the horizon for the TLC star, except for more episodes of ‘Welcome to Plathville’, which, is okay. I’m sure filming for the reality show takes up a good portion of her time.

Also, not everyone is cut out to be what they call a triple-threat, acting requires memorizing lines, being on set on time, and if you’re working in secular productions, scenes that may conflict with the beliefs you grew up with.

Beliefs that your still conservative parents may still use against you. So, it’s alright if Moriah wants to stick to a medium where she feels more free to express herself.

Also, right now Moriah’s working two jobs and writing songs and adjusting to life outside the bubble, also she’s just 17, so she has time to decide what she actually wants to do. It looks like for now she may be more serious about her music career than any sort of acting one, and, that’s alright, from what we’ve heard, that’s where Moriah’s talent lies. Whatever she decides to do, we’ll be rooting for her. Stay tuned!!!
