Buckingham Palace Refuses To Comment On Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Miscarriage News

British Royal Family News find that Buckingham Palace is making no comments about the news that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle suffered the loss of their child after the Duchess of Sussex experienced a miscarriage back in July.

Meghan Markle wrote in the New York Times that she felt her miscarriage while she was taking care of her son Archie last summer. She was rushed to the hospital, where she held and kissed her husband Prince Harry’s knuckles, which she says were wet from both of their tears.

In her op-ed for the New York Times, Meghan says that she sensed that something was not right on the morning that she miscarried.

“After changing his diaper, I felt a sharp cramp. I dropped to the floor with him in my arms, humming a lullaby to keep us both calm, the cheerful tune a stark contrast to my sense that something was not right,” she wrote. “I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second.”

And while Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer has said that the news is terribly sad, it appears as though Buckingham Palace is not releasing any public statements about the matter.

While the couple did inform both of their families about their heartbreaking news, Harry’s father Prince Charles has declined to comment, while a Buckingham Palace has concurred, saying only that it was a deeply person matter for the family.

“There is a lot of sadness around the family,” a royal source tells People Magazine on Wednesday.

A second royal source added there is “understandable sadness” in the family.

In her piece, Meghan also talked about how 2020 has brought so many breaking points to so many people around the world because of the global pandemic that has been the coronavirus along with the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. She also wants people to start asking one another if they are “ok.”

“So this Thanksgiving, as we plan for a holiday unlike any before — many of us separated from our loved ones, alone, sick, scared, divided and perhaps struggling to find something, anything, to be grateful for — let us commit to asking others, ‘Are you OK?'” she wrote.
