’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers tell that while catching up on Darcey and Stacey, I noticed something. Instead of giving Georgi the third degree like Mike did to Florian when he and Stacey were getting married, Mike rather gave Georgi the shorthand version.
He said that Georgi needed to be open and honest with Darcey and he seemed to back off, but could that mean that Mike possibly has a favorite daughter, that he’s given up on Darcey’s life choices, or could it have a totally different meaning whatsoever?
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Darcey and Stacey – Why was Mike so lenient with Georgi?
Looks like option C, the reason I say this is because it looks like Mike is totally devoted to both of his daughters but he has also been the one to say that Darcey is the louder, more demanding one of the two. So with this short-hand version of the conversation, he could just be trying to keep the peace and not rile up any of those loud, demanding tendencies of Darcey’s.
After all, I don’t think she would like it if she thought her Dad was trying to run her life, especially not at her age. (It’s one thing to do this at 18, it’s entirely another to do it at 45.) But my thoughts are, he is not taking this relationship with Georgi seriously whatsoever.
I think he thinks that Darcey and Georgi will eventually break up and it will end like all the other relationships Darcey has been in, in heartbreak. I don’t think he thinks that Georgi is serious about his daughter for one second, that’s why he didn’t go to bat for Darcey as much as he did for Stacey, not because he doesn’t love her but simply because he doesn’t have any faith in Georgi whatsoever. Honestly, I kind of see where Mike is coming from.
Here comes this guy from Bulgaria whom Darcey hasn’t been seeing for that long and then suddenly one day he asks her to marry him, but the one catch is, is that he’s already married, to another woman, back in Bulgaria.
Mike is taking his intentions about as seriously as he would take someone’s declarations of being able to fly. We can only hope for Darcey’s sake that Georgi is serious and that he doesn’t end up dropping her and going back to his wife. I mean, hey, it does happen. I think that’s what Mike is waiting on honestly. For the other shoe to drop, so are we, Mike.
So we’ll see if this leads to another trip down the aisle for Darcey, if it does and she’s happy, more power to her. If it doesn’t… maybe Mike was right to go easy on him. Stay tuned!!!
