WWE News: Randy Orton vs Drew McIntyre Announced For Hell In A Cell, But Could Braun Strowman Be Awaiting The Winner?

It was revealed during Raw last night that Drew McIntyre will be defending his WWE Championship for the third time against Randy Orton at the upcoming Hell in a Cell PPV. The programme between the two superstars so far has been exciting.

But fans are divided whether they wanted to see the two of them go at it one final time. However, the WWE have persisted with the programme and we will see one final match between the stars at the beginning of November inside the cell.

WWE News: Orton/McIntyre Feud Continues

There was no secret that this was the direction that the WWE was going in, as Orton and McIntyre were involved in the same match on Raw last night.

The superstars were among those that were involved in the six-man tag match, with Orton pinning McIntyre to win the match for his team. But, could this be the same situation at Hell in a Cell in November?

It certainly doesn’t bold well that Orton will be getting a third opportunity at the WWE Championship, and it looks increasingly unlikely that Orton will suffer a fourth straight PPV defeat.

That run of defeats would have looked impossible just a couple of months ago, as Orton was the hottest that he had ever been. However, after two defeats to the WWE Champion, there is a sense that Orton will now win the third match to walk away with the title.

WWE News: Strowman Waiting In The Wings

Braun Strowman continues to be involved on Raw, and he was involved in an interesting match this past week against Keith Lee. It seems fairly strange that Strowman is now appearing on Raw on a regular basis despite the fact that he is a SmackDown superstar.

It looks incredibly likely that Strowman will be drafted to Raw on the draft next week, and that could also see him enter the WWE Championship picture.

Due to Strowman being a heel, it would make more sense for the Monster Among Men to be involved in the championship picture against McIntyre. However, he could also have an interesting programme with Orton.

Strowman’s Universal reign fell flat in the end, which means a move to Raw could be exactly what he needs at the minute. It will be interesting to see what happens next with him.
