President Donald Trump Issues Statement After Returning To The White House – “Don’t Let It Dominate You”

President Donald Trump has issued a statement after returning to the White House after battling COVID-19. In just three days, he has come back better and healthier. Of course, this is after receiving around the clock care at one of the greatest medical institutions in the world. This is what many people are pointing out, and while there is of course merit to these remarks, we also have to look to the CDC.

The CDC has been updating their infection and fatality rates routinely, and just last month they shared the table that I’ll post below. It shows the best-case scenarios for fatality rates according to age. There are 5 scenarios, with the 5th being the most likely. Even in the best estimate, for someone in the president’s age range, they have a 0.054 chance of dying from the virus.

Couple this information with Trump‘s horrific McDonalds and diet coke diet and heavyweight class, he’s not the most healthy person. Yet, he’s still managed to come out fine in just three days. Take a look at the chart from the CDC below.

President Donald Trump Issues Statement After Returning To The White House – “Don’t Let It Dominate You”

Trump says in his video, “Don’t let it dominate you… Don’t let it take over your lives.” While there are always outliers and we’ve seen deaths from this virus, it also looks like it’s been blown entirely out of proportion. That’s not my opinion, this is looking at the CDC reports.

While you shouldn’t play fast and loose with any virus, it may be time to let people go back to work and provide for their families. Whether you’re a fan of the president or not, we’re glad he’s healthy and hopefully, the doctors were able to learn a bit more about the virus while treating him.
