Bravo ‘The Real Housewives of New York’ spoilers indicate that alum Bethenny Frankel is certainly making one thing very clear: she has no interest in ever returning to the franchise, especially after these last comments that she made.
Speaking to ET Canada in a new interview, the SkinnyGirl mogul says that one of the reasons why the franchise has been so controversial is because Bravo producer Andy Cohen has been one to reward bad behavior. “There’s a shakeup across Real Housewives. I feel like the inmates are running the asylum. The content of the show is that bad behavior gets rewarded. It’s like the upside-down,” Bethenny said rather bluntly.

Bethenny also said that she has tried to pull Andy aside in an effort to change things, as she believes that the Real Housewives is going in the wrong direction. But because all of the scandals are what helps the ratings, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon.
“I’ve said to Andy, to his face, you can’t reward bad behavior. We’re still technically employees,” she explained. “Money drives the whole machine. Any woman who tells you they’re doing the Housewives and it’s not because of the money is lying.”
Of course, it didn’t take very long for her fans, followers and critics to comment on Bethenny’s interview. Many of them said, “WTH did I just read? Did Bethenny, the Queen of Hysterics, just tell Andy Cohen that what she did while on the show should never have happened? Is she on something?
She made an entire career out of acting like an unhinged, neurotic, screaming banshee with a cruel mouth,” along with, “Bethenny acts like she is Mother Teresa and above all the other women morally when she behaved just as bad (sometimes even worse) than many of the other women of any franchise during her time on the show. What gives her the belief that now she has left that she is above it all and the show and women are now beneath her morally? She is delusional.”
Another critic put it this way, “Says the woman who used a dead man for her story line, and we were even treated to seeing one of his V-day cards that upon close inspection was blank. Bethenny was the sole reason I stopped watching the year she went ballistic on LuAnn. This is the same woman that claims she was coerced into marrying Jason by Andy…and she knew it was wrong before she even walked down the aisle. Yet she got a whole spin off for it and had no problem cashing those Bravo checks while professing her love for Jason.”
